Infuse Tea Bar is the next incarnation of the Pleasures of Tea, an established loose leaf tea company based on Long Island, NY. Its owner and founder, Kristine Henderson, envisioned Infuse Tea Bar as a place where her customers can partake in a global tea experience. More than just a tea store selling bulk loose leaf teas and tea accessories from across the world, Kristine intends to bring the ancient and modern tea traditions of Russia, Persia, Turkey, and Asia to her Long Island-based clientele.
Kristine Henderson is the founder and owner of The Pleasures of Tea and Infuse Tea Bar. Since opening in 2007, she has cultivated a loyal customer base across Long Island by regularly appearing at street festivals, providing tea tasting workshops at local libraries, and offering unparalleled customer service. Much of the ground work for establishing a shop has been done over the past six years.
Kristine is a Certified Tea Specialist, having completed many hours of coursework at the Specialty Tea Institute and The Tea Association of the USA. She maintains affiliations with the American Botanical Council, American Herbalists Guild, and Specialty Tea Institute who, in recognition of her expertise, has designated her as a Recommended Speaker.
Infuse Tea Bar is the culmination of much hard work. Through in-store tastings, workshops, and other events, Kristine wants to be able to bring a true global tea culture to Long Island, NY and will be introducing world tea traditions to a Western culture that has not been exposed to such things. Through a series of workshops and in-store special events, Kristine will be sharing more of the deep cultural tea customs with her customers. She is also looking to dispel many myths about tea, rumors made popular and widespread that have little to no elements of truth to them.
Kristine is also an herbalist and Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. She sees clients with chronic wellness issues and educates them about their own unique bio-individuality and underlying factors that contribute to metabolic imbalances. Using functional lab testing and extensive intake forms, Kristine then develops custom, comprehensive protocols that will deliver results.
